WORK EXPERIENCE
In the Classroom: I have over five years experience as a credentialed elementary and middle school classroom teacher in both general and special education instruction. I have worked in the following school districts: West Contra Costa Unified School District, Marin Unified School District, and the Oakland Unified School District. I maintain my teaching credentials and continually participate in educational courses to support and increase my knowledge and expertise.

As Private Educator: I have ten years experience as a Learning Specialist in Marin County working with children from kindergarten to high school as well as with adults. I am a member of several professional development organizations.

Why I Tutor: My desire to be a Learning Specialist stems from my belief that all people are capable of living up to their full academic potential if given appropriate instruction tailored to meet their individual needs, regardless of their learning differences and English language proficiency level. I find it very rewarding working with students of all ages and abilities as I assist them in overcoming their challenges and achieving their goals.
